By installing and using Brevi, you agree to these terms. Brevi is a Slack bot that integrates with Jira, Shortcut, and GitHub to generate AI-powered task briefs for your development team. You own your data. We provide the service as-is. Be respectful, don't abuse the platform, and pay for Pro if you use it beyond the free limits.
By installing, accessing, or using Brevi (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are installing Brevi on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Brevi is an AI-powered task brief engine for software development teams that operates as a Slack application. The Service includes:
The Service is provided on a subscription basis. A free tier is available with limited monthly task assignments. Paid plans unlock additional features and higher usage limits.
Brevi operates at the Slack workspace level. The person who installs Brevi via the Slack OAuth flow is the workspace administrator for Brevi purposes. You are responsible for:
You must notify us immediately at brevi.support@gmail.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your workspace's Brevi installation or any security breach involving your credentials.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any workspace that violates these terms without prior notice.
Free Plan: Brevi offers a free plan that includes a limited number of task assignments per month. Free plan usage limits are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Pro Plan: Paid subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis. Current pricing is listed at usebrevi.co and is subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
Billing: All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Annual plans are billed once per year.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
Refunds: All sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable law. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, contact us at brevi.support@gmail.com and we will work to resolve it.
Taxes: Prices may be subject to applicable taxes depending on your location. Lemon Squeezy, as our Merchant of Record, handles tax compliance on all transactions.
You retain full ownership of all data you provide to or generate through the Service, including Jira ticket content, GitHub repository information, task descriptions, and AI-generated briefs created from your data.
By using the Service, you grant Brevi a limited, non-exclusive license to access, process, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license does not extend to using your data for any other purpose, including training AI models.
We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. Your tickets, code references, and task content remain yours.
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Slack, Jira, Shortcut, GitHub, and OpenRouter AI. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.
By connecting your Jira, Shortcut, or GitHub credentials to Brevi, you confirm that you have the authority to grant Brevi access to those accounts and that doing so does not violate any agreement you have with those third-party providers.
Brevi uses AI to generate task summaries, developer briefs, and recommendations. You acknowledge that:
Your ticket content is sent to our AI provider to generate briefs. This content is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is not used to train AI models.

By you: You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling Brevi from your Slack workspace and cancelling any active subscription. To request deletion of all stored data, email brevi.support@gmail.com.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we determine that continued access poses a risk to the Service or other users.
Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
We may add, remove, or modify features of the Service at any time. Significant changes to paid plan features will be communicated with at least 14 days notice to active subscribers.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at brevi.support@gmail.com.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration before pursuing any legal action, except where prohibited by applicable law.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Brevi regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
